Dr. Bailie believes there is a future for regenerative medicine in the care of patients with orthopedic injury and arthritis. He has been working with the FDA and with industry for over a decade on these promising treatments. However, he has stated many times that too many patients are being duped with paying cash for “stem cells” and other products that have little evidence or no evidence of efficacy.
