As a known expert in the field of Orthopedics Sports Medicine, Dr. Bailie is often asked by media outlets, as well as the film and television industries, for information regarding various procedures and sports injuries. As a consultant to the USC Annenberg Norman Lear Center, he works with the program coordinator for Hollywood, Health and Society, ensuring the accuracy of health related storylines. Dr. Bailie recently assisted on the new ABC Television show, “Notorious,” which began filming last week. His guidance helped clarify dialogue between characters, and details pertaining to an ACL surgery performed on an NBA player which went awry. As a result of his contributions, Dr. Bailie was invited as a guest to attend the Hollywood Sentinel Award Ceremony, presented to outstanding health storylines in television.
